In this workshop, we will learn to view the different types of death as rebirth, not as the end. To do this, we will:

Differentiate between physical, psychological, and symbolic death.

Recognise your inner deaths in times of crisis.

Understand and work with the archetype of death and its masks.

Identify which part of you is ready to die and what is asking to be reborn.

Integrate the life-death-rebirth cycle into your daily life.

Meet your Guide

Alicia Domínguez Pérez holds a degree in English Philology (University of Barcelona) and a Master's in Jungian Psychology (Nebrija University). She furthered her training at the Centre for Applied Jungian Studies and is an active member of the Spinning the Straw group, led by Jungian analyst Lisa Marchiano.

After nearly 20 years teaching English, during which she co-directed a language school with her husband, she founded Alice in Gothic Land, a platform that unites her two greatest passions: Gothic literature and Jungian psychology. Through workshops, talks, seminars, coaching, and articles, she offers tools for self-exploration and personal development from a symbolic and profound perspective.

She has participated as a speaker at international conferences such as the X Congreso sobre Arte, Literatura y Cultura Alternativa, FOGO 2023, and Haunted Shores 2023. Her academic work includes a personal essay in the anthology Mothers, Mothering, Horror, and Terror (Demeter Press) and an academic essay in Women in Supernatural: Critical Essays, both forthcoming in 2025. She currently publishes on Medium, Substack, and her blog, and is writing her first solo Gothic-Jungian book, which will be published in Diversidad Literaria.

Since March 2025, she has been giving free talks and in-person workshops at Bioconcept, focusing on the importance of recognising personal myth and internal figures on the path of transformation and growth.

Her work explores how the Gothic and the symbolic help us understand the processes of loss, death, and transformation in everyday life. Using Jungian psychology as a starting point, Alicia helps people recognise their own internal deaths as opportunities for rebirth and growth.
