Welcome to my August 2023 magazine. During Season 2 of “You Are Gothic But You Don’t Know It”, we will be focusing on helping you find balance. Transitions are never easy but learning more about yourself through the Gothic Mode and Archetypal psychology will help you find answers. Issue 15 contains 49 full-colour pages dedicated, as always, to three main pillars of self-improvement: self-awareness, critical thinking, and self-expression.
In the section of self-improvement, we talk about being thankful for all the good things that happen to us every day by creating a visual map that helps us connect with ourselves.
In the sections of Critical Thinking we analyse what neuroscience says about how your unconscious begins to communicate things to you that deserve to be heard when you walk into a bookstore or library.
Regarding the section on self-expression, I tell you how teaching English led me to design a program to help my students in other areas of their lives, based on the knowledge of our psyche.
And finally, you will have access to the next part of Andrea's story. Naiad has disappeared from her house and nobody apart from her brother seems to know what's happened to her.
These are the titles of this month’s content:
· Be grateful for all the good things that happen to you every day, starting with a vision board· When your unconscious mind talks to you in the bookshop
· Does everything in your life make you happy?
· Andrea's story – Absence
Let these contents serve you as a guide.
Do you have a project in mind but you don’t know where to start, or have you started but are stuck? I would love to hear your story. Write to me at: alicegothicland@gmail.com.
